Useful Information

There are of course a few things you need to know and others we need to mention to ensure the kitchen is suitable for you, and you are suitable for the kitchen! Please see the below bullet points.

  • Price

Morning slot (7am-1pm): £150.00+vat

Afternoon slot (2pm-8pm): £200.00+vat

Night slot (9pm-6am): £150.00+vat

Prices may differ for filming use. Please get in touch to discuss further.

  • What you get

Price includes full use of entire kitchen, rubbish removal, all your cleaning materials for use within the kitchen and some storage (based on usage)
 

  • Deposit

To cover damage, time overrun or not leaving the kitchen clean and tidy, you are required to pay a £150 refundable deposit. Or, if you book on a weekly basis, the deposit is the same as one weeks' hire and the same applies for monthly bookings
 

  • Payment

You pay in advance for the times you book. So, if you book the kitchen for the day, you need to make payment before the day. Same applies if you book weekly or monthly, you need to pay fot the week or month in advance. Any overrun charged at same rate and taken from deposit
 

  • Getting to know the kitchen

Before your first session, you will need a kitchen induction which takes about 20 minutes. You will be shown how to use the equipment, where everything is and shown around the building
 

  • Food safety

All kitchen staff are required to have at least a current level 2 food hygiene certificate. This ensures the kitchen is treated with a level of professionalism and is a safe environment to work in
 

  • Who can use the kitchen

Greenwich Kitchen is available only to professionals working in the catering or filming industry. This ensures the kitchen is used correctly by people who understand how it works
 

  • Confirmation

Your booking will only be confirmed on receipt of payment

  • Requirements

  1. You will be required to privide at least a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate for all staff

  2. Proof of business insurance

  3. HACCP

  4. Proof of food hygiene rating or proof of inspection date

 

  • Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your booking, you are required to give at least 5 days’ notice (or lose deposit)
 

  • Availability

Hire hours are 24/7 however see the calendar for current availability
